Camp Evergreen

Camp Evergreen is a ministry of the South Plains Church of Christ.  It is a one week summer camp designed to help 4th through 8th grade students grow healthy relationships with God.  The week will include creative Bible classes, camp fire devotionals, active learning, hiking, crafts, sports, energetic counselors, great food, good friends, and an amazing experience!

Camper Information

Details:

We will depart from the South Plains  parking lot on Sunday, July 15th at 8:00 AM and return July 20th around 5:00 PM.  Campers will travel in tour buses driven by professional drivers.  Campers should pack a sack lunch to eat on the trip down to camp.  A brief pre-camp meeting and packing session will be held July 14th at 6:00 PM in the South Plains Gymnasium. The camp nurse will be available at this time to receive any medications and directions for your child.

Registration Info:

Cost for Camp Evergreen is $180.  A $50 (non-refundable) deposit is due with this application no later than June 24th.  The remaining balance can be paid July 14th at the pre-camp meeting.  After June 24th, the price of camp increases to $205 if spots are still available.

Camp Evergreen is held at Pine Springs Summer Camp which is owned and operated by Lubbock Christian University. Located South of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Pine Springs Summer Camp is nestled in the Sacramento Mountains within the Lincoln National Forest. The  facility is comprised of cabins, a bathhouse, a lodge/dining hall, an athletic facility, an outdoor meeting area and campfire area. Pine Springs serves as an incredible environment for worshiping, praying, studying and playing together!

Who:

Camp Evergreen is open to any incoming 4th through 8th graders. It is not limited to members of the South Plains family. Visitors are always welcome and wanted! The teachers, directors, cooks, and staff are South Plains members.
